HAHNBECK ANNOUNCES THE COMPLETION OF ANOTHER SUPERB E-COMMERCE DEAL

Hahnbeck is pleased to be able to announce the acquisition of another leading brand, this time by Canton, Ohio based e-commerce aggregator Society Brands. An outstanding brand in the screen protector market, Power Theory is led by founder Matt Dreier.

Matt and his team have successfully built a premium brand in this huge category, with highly effective systems and enormous potential for further growth. 

Hahnbeck’s extensive network in the e-commerce sector enabled us to identify the buyer who had the closest strategic fit with our client. Society Brands’ Shawn Dougherty had previously built Mophie to more than $200 million in sales so she and her team were perfectly positioned to take Power Theory to the next level. The firm has now hired several key former Mophie executives as it sets about building a franchise in consumer electronics.

Hahnbeck provided extensive support throughout the process and through due diligence. Both the seller and the acquiring firm are very happy with the deal.
